• You need adminstrator rights to run the installer.
• Please uninstall other JAVA (JRE) installations first.
• If you have to execute already other JAVA applications on this system that are using a central installed Java Runtime Engine, please check first that they are compatible with the JiveX JAVA version to be installed. This regards Java applications started as browser-applets, WebStart applications or java applications that are looking java virtual machines up within the environtment-PATH or windows registry.

Please click "Install WebStart" to start installation. Follow the instructions appearing on the monitor to complete the installation steps.

To start the program

For security reasons Firefox does not ever execute programs directly. You have to save the program first on your hard disk, and start it afterwards.

You'll find the settings for saving files by clicking the menu "Tools" -> "Options...". Within "Options" select the tab marker "General". There you'll be able to configure your download settings.

Click "Save File" to save the installation file on your hard disk.

The downloads list can be opened by clicking the menu "Tools" -> "Downloads", if not already opened.

By using the right mouse button, click the entry "JavaWebStart-Setup-Win.exe".

To execute it directly, choose "Open" or, to simply open the containing folder, "Open containing folder".

If you are not logged in as Administrator you have to log out and log in before the first use of WebStart.

Start Firefox again and go to the JiveX WebStart site. You can start JiveX via WebStart now.
